Est-elle Academy was born out of the dream of two sisters, Ruth Riemer and Esther Freeman and in April of 1980 its doors opened for the first time on the corner of 82 Ave and 105 St. Their goal was to develop a school and a program that was heavily student focused to inspire confidence and serve our industry.  

Vision Statement: Leading the Hair Industry in training the most confident, talented, and trainable Apprentices in Canada

Mission Statement: To provide an educational environment driven by Teamwork and Mentorship that Inspires and Encourages the Passion and Talent in our Students, and Cultivates a Demand and Appreciation for Life Long Learning.

Over the years we have moved a few times but have always been right here in the Old Strathcona area serving students and guests.  Currently we are located at 8004 Gateway Blvd and we look forward to having you visit!
